There are moments when it feels like everyone else is chosen first—at work, in friendships, or even in family. Maybe you’ve felt overlooked, like an afterthought or a backup plan. But God’s heart is different: you are, and always have been, His first choice. Not because of what you can do, but because of who you are—His beloved daughter.
Even if you’ve been the one who always has to reach out, who makes the first move, or who wonders if anyone thinks of you first, God wants you to know: He thinks of you first, always. He initiates with you. He checks in on you. He calls you chosen, cherished, and equipped for everything He’s assigned in your life.
God does not make mistakes or afterthoughts. Ephesians 1:4 reminds us, “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world.” You are handpicked, created with purpose, and set apart to bear fruit (Genesis 1:26). God’s choice is the best choice—and He chose you.
This month, embrace your identity as God’s choice. Let go of feelings of rejection or unworthiness, and step confidently into the life He’s uniquely designed for you.
Scripture Focus:
Ephesians 1:4 | Genesis 1:26 | John 15:16 | 1 Peter 2:9 | Psalm 139:13-16
